The 2018-19 school year will be Ms. Stepleton's first year at WHHS. She comes to us after a 16 year elementary music teaching position at HB Williams Elementary. Ms. Stepleton is originally from Pontiac, MI and received her Bachelor of Music Education from Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She also has a Masters in Arts of Education from Cumberland University.
Ms. Stepleton has a successful history in strong choral traditions and seeks to continue the traditions of a strong choral music program at WHHS. She anticipates helping students prepare for and participate in honors choirs, adjudication festivals, competitions, travel, and college prep.
Ms. Stepleton is also very proud to be the Executive Music Director of Encore! Community Choir, a community choir designed for middle school aged singers in the White House Community.
She was born and raised in Michigan where the majority of her family still resides. She is very close to her parents and sisters and adores her 5 nieces and nephews. Ms. Stepleton loves Disney World, the beach, Starbucks coffee, and all things pink and glittery!
